First Area (1/13/2011)

Hey guys! so my first area is called Hereford pronounced hair-fud. My comapanion is Elder Jenkins, he is from idaho just outside of Bear Lake somewhere, He played basketball in High School and i'm excited to work with him. We normally will Email on Mondays because that is our P-day but since i didnt get a P day last week we are emailing today. Hereford isnt a big city its alot more rural i guess the ward here has about 80 members or something. Yesterday the Couple Missionaries picked us up in their car to go meet the bishop. they're names are the Henrys apperently they know the Fiefers in our Ward. Anyways after meeting the bishop we went and had dinner at the ward mission leaders house. He is awesome i met him and his wife and then a recent convert named emma who is now a ward missionary. The ward mission leaders name is Paul Johnson. Paul used to be a big time drinker and he was living with his now wife but at the time they werent married and they had 2 sons. I dunno how long it has been since he was converted but probably 10 years ago and it was just great to hear his story cause he is a stubborn kind scary guy and he said if i can be converted then anyone can. So me and elder jenkinfs are really motivated to kick some butt here and take some names. Oh by the way Hereford is kinda near the Welsh border we have a little corner of Welsh in our area. We are riding bikes and our area covers 30 miles in every directions! lots of hills ahead of me. Well i'll see ya later jesus loves you

Last P-Day in England MTC (1/11/2011)

Hey guys i only have 15 min to talk so sorry if it seems rushed and doesnt make sense and i didnt have anytime to read or reply to any emails. My P day will probably be on monday so maybe i'll have more time by then. How is nathaniel?? I havent gotten a letter from him yet?! by the way dont send letters to the MTC address anymore send them to the Birmingham one because tommorrow i head to Birmingham i am done at the MTC now. I leave tommorrow at like 6 15 in the morning. On friday we were able to go to Picadelly square in Manchaster and do street contactiong it was really awesome Manchester is a really BIG and cool city i felt like i was at Time Square New York and i met a lot of cool people. We rode a train to get to Manchester by the way, i was a little dissapointed ... its basically just like Utah Trax thing. Everybody here has a different accent so all my word just sound messed up occasionally i'll say one word like in an accent but it wont be like an english accent it will be an irish accent or scottish. Cause alot of the teachers are from ireland and scotland and all over the place so lets just say my words are all messed. I will tell you one thing i hate about England.. THe toilets its like a mile dropp to the bottom and they fill it with like one cup of water and then when you flush then like 18 gallons of water come down lol ya you might not want to put that part on my blog lol but sorry i goot go i hate to end on toilets but my times almost up

First P-day in England MTC (1/5/2011)

Hey guys i only have a few seconds to write today is my P day and it is my first and only one.This Friday me and my comp. get dropped off in the city of manchester and we just have to do our best to meet people and teach them ....so wish us good luck. I have learned a lot in the MTC. i'm gonna try and attach some photos. One of them is a picture of a boy with a cheesey smile on the airplane. i met him on the airplane to atlanta and i taught him a bit about mormons and gave him a pamphlet. The other picture is a lady that was sitting next to me and her husband they were members and they live in atlanta they were super nice.
